Description

Giorgio Ferremi is an artisan framebuilder from the north of Italy between Trento and Bergamo. Each of his frames has been built by himself, carefully considering all necessary measures which make a bike a sportive yet subtle ride. What left his workshop is of a very high standard, the soldering impeccable, the geometry advanced.
Our Ferremi Artisan Italian Steel Road Bike from the 1980s is a very good example for his craftsmanship. Maybe the most striking details are the special crimps in the Columbus tubing. The downtube is slightly reinforced by them and the wheelbase is shortened for easier climbing and cornering.
The pantographs on stem frame and chainring leave no doubt of the maker's pride in his work.
As for the parts we find a Gipiemme Crono Sprint group, Gipemme's attempt to get some of the high class market shares which were still dominated by Campagnolo back then. Great quality.
This bike is suitable for any kind of rides, though we recommend it for historic bike races and weekend jaunts.
