Description

Giorgio Ferremi is an artisan framebuilder from the north of Italy between Trento and Bergamo. Each of his frames has been built by himself, carefully considering all necessary measures which make a bike a sportive yet subtle ride. What left his workshop is of a very high standard, the soldering impeccable, the geometry advanced.
Our Ferremi Super Steel Road Bike from the 1980s is a very good example for his craftsmanship. Clean lines with occasional pantographes, that is unmistakably a hand work of this artisanal frame builder.
However this nice frame has been built up with one target in mind - climbing. Apart of the high end Campagnolo gruppo, you will find some interesting but above all practical tweaks. The Ferremi pantographed crankset is a modified Campagnolo Record one with the triple chainrings. To be able to accomodate those wast differences between the small and big chainrings, there is the sought after Campagnolo Rally rear derailleur to help. But what all this really mean? It is a true climbing machine! The ratio 36 x 26 enables you to tackle even the steepest hills with ease and relieve your knees in the process. It is you who chooses the tempo this time, not just what the limited gears allow.
This versatile bike is suitable for any kind of rides, particularly the tough hilly historic races like L'Eroica.
Inspected and serviced in our workshop, it is ready to be ridden straight away.
