Flandria Randonneur Touring Bicycle NOS 1970s

When we see frames in such stellar condition, we get inspired to make it a special bike. This Flandria Randonneur came to us as a NOS frame and we couldn't take our eyes off it. Fantasizing about what its full potential could be fully built. Initially, we saw this as a project for the frames new home, but when you leave bicycle obsessed people to think about a frames possibilities, something has to give. We think our lack of restraint pays off with this ultra stylish Flandria Randonneur.

Starting with the integrated rear rack already brazed onto the frame, we wanted this to be your everyday city machine, with the ability to take you on a weekend jaunt to the lake. Tucked nicely under the rack we have a set of hammered chrome fenders on the front and back to keep you dry when the weather turns. We wanted to remove the front derailleur to simplify the joy of being out on your bike. With a smaller 45t chainring, you will have no problems on the hills. Truly a bike of leisure, we've included a handsome black Brooks B17 saddle and finished it off with Cinelli and Campagnolo components.

Last but not least, our workshop went one step further and fashioned a handmade chain-guard to increase not only the functionality of this pristine bike, but somehow make it look even more special!
