Description
Francesco Moser, also known as the 'Sheriff' was not only a world champion, but whilst still competing competitively also began producing world class bicycles with his brother Aldo. Bringing the practical knowledge of the road to the construction of the frame itself.
From the late 1970s, with the help and support of master frame builder Ugo De Rosa, the small Moser workshop in Trento, northern Italy was transformed into a premiere destination for road bike production. This 1980s Corsa has the 51.151 marked fork, paying homage to Moser's 1984 hour world record and the meters covered. It is equipped with Shimano 105 parts which is actually a very good choice. They are notoriously reliable and work really well. And on top the gunmetal finish of this series look pretty good for a mid-range groupset. Some of the parts like the ITM stem, saddle and even the Ambrosio rims are Moser branded.
The frame is most likely mede of Oria tubing and it still sports the original and for the 80s Moser bikes very typical paintjob.
The bike has been check and tuned by our mechanics and is running perfectly. It is clear that the bike has not many kilometers on its clock and the very nice condition of the original parts confirm that. Ready for the next ride!
