Description

Frejus Classic Road Bicycle from the 1950s. A brand which really .

Founded in 1896 by Emmo Ghelfi in Turin, the company embodies the most prestigious Italian heritage. It was subsequently acquired by Emilio Bozzi - owner of Legnano. Truly handcrafted and equipped just with the best components, Frejus bikes led a young Gino Bartali to his first victories in the 1930s.

Any avid collector out there has always dreamed to own and ride such unique bicycles. This Frejus Tour de France, serial number 022899 was designed as an all rounder, which will excell on almost any road, surface and with a possibility to attache some mudguards to it. This particular piece has been professionaly restored.

It was customary for Frejus that the bikes carried a lot of components baring the brand's name. And so it is with our bike and we have the Frejus crank, brakes, headset and even the hubs. The rest is done by Simplex (shifter and beautiful front lever derailleur), Campagnolo with it's first Record derailleur, Universal, Brooks, Fiamme and 3ttt.

A piece of cycling history which could enlarge any serious collection but is more than capable of taking part in historic cycling event.
