This Frejus is a rare masterpiece of craftsmanship, a piece of the Italian cycling heritage. The brand was founded in 1896 in Turin by Emmo Ghelfi and then acquired by Emilio Bozzi. The latter has been kidnapped and assassinated in the mid-1970s by the Brigate Rosse or BR, an Italian terrorist group. The company then closed.
This model is fully equipped with Campagnolo Record group and with Universal brakes, very iconic of the 1960s. What is better than an authentic vintage Brooks leather saddle to complete this beautiful rarity?
Despite its age, this Frejus works perfectly. The steel frame is in good condition and has some scratches and signs of usage. But wait... We are talking about a 51 years old racing bike!!! For real connoisseurs...
