Description
Cicli Frugeri is based in Novara near Milan, Italy. The shop is closely connected with it's founder, Ottaviano Frugeri which was also a very skilled frame builder. And it's no surprise then, that some great bikes with his name on them left the shop during the 80s and 90s. No many though and Frugeri bikes are pretty rare to find.
Frugeri later experimented with aluminium and carbon fiber and the aerodynamically advanced designs (later banned by UCI, off course) were simply breath taking.
This Frugeri Competition is a classic example of a fine 90s road bike. The frame is made of slightly oversized Columbus tubes, specifically selected by Frugeri. The frame then received a stunning paintjob, something were are used to see on works of Dosenna Carlo.
The bike is equipped with Campagnolo Record and Chorus parts with 8-speed Ergopower shifters on the bars.
This classic bike is a perfect choice for someone, who want to take it for a serious ride and who enjoys the looks and feel of a classic Italian hand made frame.
