Description
Garlatti is one of the old Italian companies in the bicycle business. They were founded in 1909 and since then have always supplied the Italian market with a wide range of high quality bikes - from elegant racing machines to stately city bikes.
Our Garlatti Garlatti Special Course from the 1970s finds itself somewhere on the upper part of the scale.
The frame is built from butted tubing, Garlatti called it GL but it most likely is Falck tubing.
The typical austere Italian design is only broken by the chromed headlugs. Otherwise this bike is just a plain sports machine.
As shifting mechanism serves a complete Campagnolo Nuovo Record set. The Galli brakes - some people consider them to be the best of their time - are bringing the bike to a quick halt. This bike is predestined to be used for a historic bike race. Which does not mean that it won't serve you well on relaxing weekend rides.
