Description
Geliano is a French artisan brand, founded in 1981 by Jean-Marie Duret, who built customised frames from 1981 onwards in his workshop near Orleans.
The Geliano brand has an excellent reputation, and the bicycles are considered top levels examples of French bicycle design by collectors today. Our frame was manufactured using a fillet brazing method. Fillet brazing describes a process in which the individual frame tubes are brazed together in a lugless design. The tubes flow in a seamless manner, which gives the frames a very filigree appearance and adds to the aerodynamics of this Time Trial bicycle.
Geliano has always stood and is known for its extravagant paintwork. Our example is adorned in hand painted neon flames and what's more is the top level Shimano Dura Ace groupset has also been painted in the same style.
Condition
used. The bicycle is in good condition. The frame has no cracks, no dents and is not bent. The paintwork and decals are all original. All parts have been checked and are working fine. The bicycle went through a full checkup at Steel Vintage Bikes workshop! All parts were disassembled, cleaned and re-assembled again. The frame was checked for structural integrity and all wearing parts were replaced with new ones. You can expect the bicycle in fantastic riding condition and ready to go for your vintage bike ride.Size Information
