Description
A one-off piece of art manufactured by the Giamè brothers in Italy, two of the most virtuous Italian craftsmen of all time. This is a Giamé ladies racing bicycle from the 1980s.
Antonio and Agostino Giamé worked as frame builders for Gios Torino and Frejus in Turin, Italy. In the 60s, they worked together to begin manufacturing their own frames under the Giamè name in a very limited amount of numbers (up to 20 each year). Antonio and Agostino Giamè always kept decorations to minimum, preferring a classic and clean style, as this model in original condition perfectly shows.
The frame - made of Columbus SL tubes - features filigree cut-out lugs and bottom bracket shell, typical of any Giamè bicycle. What makes this model particularly unique, however, is the step-through frame and internal cable routing; an unusual but aesthetically refined combination. Finished in a striking blue that recalls the defining feature of Gios bicycles, the Campagnolo Super Record components make this bicycle a dream to ride.
A unique bicycle; the perfect choice for true collectors or Eroica heroes.
