Gianni Motta bikes are always something special and attention-drawing.
When Gianni Motta, the famous cycling champion, ended his successful career, he turned to building top class bicycles that lived up to their name. These bicycles are famous for their elegance, stiffness and efficient power transmission. Famous became the top of the line model the 'Personal'. The bike we present here is one of Motta's top models - and it even is the earliest exemplar we had so far!
The frame is made of classic Columbus SL tubing. The choice for almost every professional Italian frame from that time. You can easily detect the typically engraved Motta fork crown. The original paintjob shows the metallic gold wich became characteristic for the Gianni Motta Personal.
This special bicycle is equipped with a complete Campagnolo Nuovo Record groupset.
