Description
The Gios name is one of the great pillars in Italian cycling history and culture, and the Gios Torino Super Record is a true monument of its time.
The birth of Super Record is closely connected with team Brooklyn. This nowadays iconic cycling team changed sponsors and from season 1973 on the squad formed around Roger de Vlaeminck rode exclusively deep blue Gios Torino bikes. And when a standard version based on them became available to public a legend was born.
Our Super Record is built of light Columbus SL tubes and features iconic details like the "GT" engraved bottom bracket and you would find the same logo on the slightly sloping fork crown. It is equipped with nothing less than Campagnolo Super Record 1st generation parts with the sought after rear derailleur. The rest is also fine with 3ttt cockpit, Mavic GP4 rims or Larcia NOS saddle.
A true classic among high class vintage bikes, a races winning thoroughbred and an example of fine craftsmanship - that all is Gios Torino Super Record. Certainly a good choice for all vintage bikes fans.
