Description

The Gios Professional was a bike developed by Gios and the famous rider De Vlaeminck. It was a really fine design, which, manufactured between 1983 and 1986, was a natural evolution of the legendary Super Record. The fork was Aero-tapered. The lugs were pretty advanced and so were the waterproof internally routed brake cable.

Despite its more modern features, apparently at least one person preferred the classic 'coin' fork of the Gios Super Record models: Our custom made Gios is not only made to measure with a really short top tube, it also has these older style Gios forks. The former owner had it repainted in a typical Gios blue.

The frame is equipped with Campagnolo components of the mid 1980s: triomphe parts are combined with legendary smooth Super Record wheels. The transition with its 28t rear sprocket is fit for some proper hill climbing. Thus even Eroica rides with their notorious climbs are just another acceptable challenge to you and this bike.
Checked and lubed, this ride is ready to take on the road with you.
