Gitane Team R.M.O. Dante Rezze Pro Bike 1992

The French pro cycling team R.M.O. existed from 1986 to 1992 and was the home to some successful riders.
In 1992 for example, from which our bike stems, famous names like Richard Virenque, Charly Mottet, Stéphane Heulot and Marcel Wüst rode on the white, black and yellow Gitane bikes.

Another very talented rider of the squad was Dante Rezze.
Riding for R.M.O. from their first to their last year, he had the supportive role of a gregario. Nonetheless he took part in 5 grand tours.
His most successful season was the year 1992, and this was his bike.

The Gitane branded frames were built from partly oversized Columbus EL tubes and fully Mavic equipped.
Our bike is very well preserved and even though some of its parts have been replaced, it is still an excellent machine with a fine working setup.
