Description
We don't know much about Goden. It is not clear to us if it has been a bike shop, very small frame builder or something else. On the other hand, there is a lot we know about this particular Goden Strada classic road bicycle.
It is exceptionaly well made and elaborate. The thin-walled and light tubes (presumably Columbus SL) are connected with nice cutout lugs highlighted on the head tube by contrasting black paint.
Interesting detail, showing that this is no ordinary frame, are the directly mounted brake calipers without using a nut on the back of the fork crown or the brake bridge.
What defines this bike though are the pantographes, both on the frame and the parts. On the Campagnolo Nuovo Record gruppo and Cinelli cockpit, you will find engravings, milling and drilling almost everywhere. And some of them are extremely precise and beutiful. It is no surprise, because most of them are a work of one of the masters of this art - Gino Cornazzani. Famously, he decorated many Patelli and Ortelli frames and reached almost unmatched level of skill.
This bike has been completely checked in our workshop and if needed, some parts have been exchanged for new or actually NOS ones.
A beautiful bicycle with well made frame and almost artistic quality to it. Recomended for Eroica or off course any ride.
