Description
Founded by Silvino Grandis in 1965, Grandis is an Italian manufacturer from Verona which still produces high-end racing bicycles today. Everything started in 1930, when Silvino built his first frame, though he started selling bicycles under his name only after 35 years in the business. Ever since then, his bicycles have been admired by cyclists and collectors around the globe.
The Grandis Special Grand Prix was one of the top models back in the 1970s. Made of light and sturdy Columbus tubes, this bicycle perfectly illustrates Grandis' skills in building lightweight bikes.
This bike is equipped with a nice and great working Shimano 600 groupset. The frame itself shows some of the typical details of the legendary Grandis Superleggera model but is generally more restrained concerning the decor. All made with the refined craftsmanship of the kind you can expect by Grandis. Checked and serviced in our workshop, this Grandis is ready to be ridden. It offers an exceptional narrow Q-factor - for those who care about technical details.
Simply elegant. A bicycle for those who admire attention to details and a straightforward red Italian road bike
