Description

The history of the Guerciotti brand started in 1964 when the brothers Italo and Paolo Guerciotti – at the time road respectively cyclocross riders – opened a small workshop in the outskirts of Milan.

As stated in one of their 80s catalogues, "Guerciotti builds bicycles that unify function and workmanship as never before. To the last detail, every Guerciotti caresses the eye and challenges the spirit, using the most advanced frame geometry and equipment technology available".

And this particular Guerciotti from the late 1970s is no exception. The Columbus SL lugged frameset has been completely refurbished and received a deep green paintjob. The shiny chroming has been redone as well. The frame illustrates the Guerciotti quality well with the precisely filed lugs, elegant cutouts and engravings - clear indicators that this Guerciotti was a high-end model of its time.
Regarding the parts, it is equipped with the Campagnolo Nuovo Record groupset which has been customized with many Guerciotti pantographes, which you will find on the brakes, levers, stem and even the seatpost. There are also other fine parts like the Ambrosio Synthesis Super Professional rims in mint condition or the NOS Larcia leather saddle.
