Description

The history of the Guerciotti brand started in 1964 when the brothers Italo and Paolo Guerciotti – at the time respectively road and cyclocross riders – opened a small workshop in the outskirts of Milan.

As stated in one of their 80s catalogues, "Guerciotti builds bicycles that unify function and workmanship as never before. To the last detail, every Guerciotti caresses the eye and challenges the spirit, using the most advanced frame geometry and equipment technology available".

This particular bike is no exception. The lugged Columbus tubing frame, illustrates very precisely filled lugs with elegant cutouts and engravings which are clear indicators of a Guerciotti.
The bike has been assembled with notorious consecutive climbs in mind, like you will experience when riding L'Eroica. Therefore the heart of the componentry and real kicker has to be the drivetrain. A triple chainset and the Shimano Titlist long cage derailleur allow you to with ratios ranging from 30/28 to 52/14. And when it comes to a very steep climbs, such easy gear can be a salvation.

Checked in our workshop in Berlin, the bike is ready to be ridden. Perfect for demanding classic cycling events, but suitable for much wider range of occasions thanks to its versatility.
