Description
Designed with Italian panache, the Holdsworth Professional Italia is assembled with Columbus SL Tubing joined with long spearpoint lugs using low temperature brazing techniques. For that unmistakable Italian flash, highly polished stainless steel dropouts and chainstays give this frame an eye popping chromed look , that will not weather with time.
A full complement of brazed on parts and vertical dropouts bring a touch of the modern-era to an otherwise classic frameset. Beautifully crafted through every stage of the process. Every tube cut and mitred by hand, every lug painstakingly filed and brazed. Individual inspection at all stages, results in newly produced frames of exacting quality, maintaining the heritage that made Holdsworth the uncompromising brand it is today.
And of course the colour of the frame refle racects the golden era of the brand's cycling history. The iconic orange and blue of the Holdsworth-Campagnolo team is an absolute must for such a build. A dominating force in the highest levels of cycling, the team won countless national and internationals, British road racing titles, and was even used to compete in the Tour de France.
With a build including reliable, high quality components, this build is as stable to ride as they come.
