Description
Italo Zilioli Super Record Classic Road Bike 1981.
Italo Zilioli is an Italian former professional cyclist, who raced from 1962 to 1976. That was a time of immense talent: the Eddy Merckx, Anquetil, Adorni and Gimondi era, but Zilioli anyway achieved some victories in some prestigious one-day races and won stages in the big tours. In the Giro, however, he established the beloved image of being the eternal second. He was placed second three times and third one time.
After retiring from competitions, Italo Zilioli started producing road bicycles carrying his name.
As this one, which dates back to 1981. The frame is made of Columbus SL tubes and is equipped with Campagnolo Super Record parts (rear derailleur and crankset pat 1981). Just the best of everything.
This Zilioli shows the typical attention to detail of the best classic bicycles with its many pantographed parts!
A classic racing bicycle with no compromises!
