Description
Jan Janssen was the first Dutch rider to win the Tour de France and also the first Dutch to win the Vuelta a España. His glorious times with many many won races were in the 1960s and early 1970s. When he finished racing as professional rider in 1972, he started a business in producing high class bicycles. Today the company still exists and still specializes in custom made bikes.
The Vuelta model was named after Janssen's memorable victory on Spanish soil in 1967. The frame, painted in violet and black color combination, is made of sturdy steel tubes connected with nice cut out lugs. Equipped with reliable Shimano components, this classic Duch bicycle is well suited for everyday commuting as well as fast Sunday afternoon ride.
