Description
The Koga Miyata FullPro models have always been really exceptional bikes. Probably quite expectable, since since the FullPro line was the absolute top line of Koga Miyata and gave forth to awe-insipring masterpieces galore.
This bike is built using the FullPro frameset from 1989 which consisted of one of the best tubesets of its time: Miyata Hardlite FM-1. Miyata famously was one of the very few frame manufacturers who were in possession of their own steel mill where they were able to draw their own tubing. Hardlite FM-1 is a tripple butted tubeset with added helical splines on the inside for some extra reenforcement. The geometry of the frame is very well balanced and you can feel all the experience which went into this top notch product.
A frame like this cannot be outfitted with anything than great parts. So to no surprise you can find a complete Shimano Dura Ace groupset on it. In this case it is the '91 version with STI brake-shifting levers and dual pivot brakes. Flawless function.
This bike is the perfect companion for long weekend rides or an intense sunny afternoon cycling spree.
