Description
This Koga Miyata Gents-Racer-S dates back to 1979 and is a superb racing machine. The frame was built by Miyata, a company which has been in the bicycle business since 1890 and employed some of the best frame builders. But not only the employees were special at Miyata. A hallmark of all their bikes was the tubing of tremendous quality. The result is stunning. So proud was Koga Miyata of their work, that they soon granted a life long guarantee on the frames.
This particular bike is made with Hi Manga double butted steel tubing and si fully fitted with a Shimano 600 EX groupset. Arrived at Steel Vintage Bikes in original condition – it is exactly as it was displayed in the 1979 catalogue – the bike underwent a complete service in our workshop.
