Description
The Koga Miyata Prologue was the 'best bang for your buck' model of Koga Miyata in 1991.
Its frame offered the same main tubing which were used on the top models: The splined and triple butted Hardlite FM1 tubes, maybe the best steel tubing on the market back then. The fork is made of High Manganese steel.
To keep the bike interesting for people who would not necessarily spend too much money on parts, like rookies or hobby riders who are just looking for a machine to train on everyday, it was outfitted with reliable parts from Shimano's entry level and middle class range. A decision that has not been proven wrong, since the bike was very popular and the parts are still working fine to this day.
This is a racer for anyone who needs a reliable bike with a nice, responsive frame, be it for commuting or refreshing weekend rides.
