Description
In 1979 former opera singer, restaurateur and cycling enthusiast Konrad Kotter started to sponsor his own cycling team: the German Kotter's Cycling Team. Among the riders were some pretty talented sportsmen like Dietrich 'Didi' Thurau or Hans Peter Jakst. One of the riders of this squad was Stefan Schröpfer who rode the Giro d'Italia on our very Kotter's Racing Team Team bike from 1981.
The Kotter bikes were basically upgraded bikes of the German brand Kondor. The frames of which were made by Romani in Parma, Italy.
The tubes of our bike are Columbus SL ones and fork and rear stays have been nicely chromed. The parts are a complete Campagnolo Super Record groupset, the choice of most pro riders in 1981.
A bike that is most suitable for a historic bike race or your private collection.
