Description
Here we present a very rare classic bicycle from Lazzaretti. Lazzaretti is an Italian brand and bicycle shop from Rome with a nearly centennial history. All their bikes are made with an extreme attention to detail and a deep sense for elegance.
Our exemplar stems from the early 1990s and it's one sweet bike. It is made of Columbus SLX steel tubes with inner hellical reinforcements connected with lugs. The fork is also up there. Likely made with beefier yet very light Columbus EL blades, it's part cromed part painted finish just accents the beautiful unicrown shape. It also features Cinelli "spiler" bottom bracket and subtle yet fine details can be found all over the frame.
Another field this bike shines in is certainly the componentry. It is equipped with Campagnolo Chorus RS gruppo, which shares the same 1st gen. Ergopower 8-speed shifters with C-Record.
The first thing anyone will notice though is the paintjob. The combination of three fresh colours is simply stunning.
If you are looking for a rare vintage road racer which is a joy to look at, then you shouldn't miss this one.
