Description
Seven world championships, six Giro d'Italia, two Tour de France and two world hour records are enough to enumerate Legnano among the most winning - thus most prestigious - brands of all time. A brand which is also proud of being one of the oldest Italian manufactures (1902, Milano) and of having manufactured bicycles which would become true icons.
Just as the Legnano Gran Premio, first released in 1958 as slightly more affordable - yet high-end - alternative of the Olimpiade Roma.
This Legnano classic road bicycle dates back approximately to the very early 1960 and it has been professionally refurbished in the Legnano trademark green color. The head tube has been left in it's chromed finish, just as the head lugs.
As for the parts, it has been equipped with Campagnolo shifting, Balilla brakes, Legnano headset, great Brooks Professional saddle or 3ttt cockpit.
A great vintage bicycle for classic cycling events made by one of the most iconic Italian cycling brands of all time.
