Description
Seven world championships, six Giro d'Italia, two Tour de France and two world hour records are enough to enumerate Legnano among the most winning - thus most prestigious - brands of all time.
A brand which is also proud of being one of the oldest Italian manufactures. Founded 1902 in Milan, they have manufactured bicycles which would become true icons.
A brand which is also proud of being one of the oldest Italian manufactures. Founded 1902 in Milan, they have manufactured bicycles which would become true icons.
Just as the Legnano Gran Premio, first released in 1958 as a slightly more affordable - yet high-end - alternative to the op model Olimpiade Roma and later the Record Specialissima.
Our Legnano Gran Premio Classic Road Bike from about 1979 is a very classic and classy appearance. The Frame has been built from Reynolds 531 tubing, the legendary material, the evergreen of steel tubes. Thus it is more than enough quality in this bike as far as steel is concerned. But what about the groupset? Well it is a full Campagnolo Nuovo Gran Sport: Reliable, good looking and great in condition.
A great bike with a great pedigree in a plain and beautiful design.
