Description

Legnano Gran Premio classic road bicycle. Seven world championships, six Giro d'Italia, two Tour de France and two world hour records are enough to enumerate Legnano among the most winning - thus most prestigious - brands of all time.
A brand which is also proud of being one of the oldest Italian manufactures (1902, Milano) and of having built bicycles which would become true icons.

Just as the Legnano Gran Premio, first released in 1958 as slightly cheaper - yet high-end - alternative of the Olimpiade Roma.

This Legnano Gran Premio dates back approximately to 1959, according to the frame serial number EM1943 stamped on the right side of the seat lug. This Gran Premio arrived in our shop in original authentic condition and the typical green/yellow paintjob with nice patina.

The equipment is mostly original to with period correct parts. It is equipped with Campagnolo Gran Sport groupset, Universal brakes, Brooks saddle or original Legnano crankset and cockpit.

This beutiful classic bicycle has been made 60 years ago and it is still more than capable of a nice ride. It also radiates the long gone spirit in which old bicycles were made.
