Description
Litespeed is the most established company in cycling when it comes to titanium. Founded in 1986 by David Lindskey in Tennessee, USA, the company has unparalleled level of expertise and the Litespeed titanium bikes were ridden by the brightest stars in the biggest events. The great Greg Lemond for example and in 1993 Lance Armstrong won the world championships on a Litespeed custom bike in team Motorola colours. Almost a decade later, in 2002, the Australian sprinter Robbie McEwen aboard his Litespeed Vortex won the green jersey by outsprinting Erik Zabel on the Champs-Élysées.
And you can bet that that bike was the best equipment for the tough an grueling race like Tour de France. Litespeed Vortex is made of the the lightest and stiffest grade of titanium used for bike (6Al/4V) and the tubes with differentiated shapes also massively increase the overall stability. Yet the bike still feels supple and well behaved even on fast descends or rougher roads. In the front is the Reynolds Ouzo carbon fiber fork.
Our Vortex comes equipped with the exquisite Campagnolo Super Record 11-speed groupset and some other fine components like the Ritchey WCS cockpit and seatpost, Chris King headset or indeed the Campagnolo Bora Ultra TWO lightweight wheelset. Both the frame and parts are furthermore in very nice condition, completely checked and serviced so you can be sure, that you can put some power to the pedals without worries.
This bike truly has a racing pedigree and it if you don't want to make any compromises and enjoy a crisp, fast ride, don't look any further.
