Description
In Saint Étienne, the cradle of French bicycle production existed a dense complex of cycling componentry workshops.
One of these companies was Sifem.
Though the Société Industrielle de Fabrication Et Montage also produced single components, they became probably most famous for building the Luis Ocana branded bikes.
Cashing in on the name of the famous Tour de France winner must have been a really clever move, considering they were able to run the brand through the 1970s and 1980s.
Our Luis Ocana Ladies Bike has a stable frame construction with two parallel sloping top tubes and equipped with some reliable French parts. A a foul weather, the mudguards will come handy as well.
Good choice for an everyday bike without sacrificing any of the vintage style.
