In the early 1980s Alberto Masi had a great idea. The idea to combine an extremely advanced oversized steel tubing with even more advanced internal lugs, hidden in the frame. After several experiments, in 1984, Masi Milano presented the first Masi 3V Volumetrica to the world.
His invention was the inspiration and starting shot for oversized tube frames all over the world. To this day the subtle and elegant construction does not seize to amaze the beholder. Campagnolo Super Record group setup.
