Description

In the early 1980s Alberto Masi had the idea to combine an extremely advanced oversized steel tubing with even more advanced internal lugs, hidden in the frame.
After several experiments, in 1984, Masi Milano presented the first Masi 3V Volumetrica to the world.

This invention was the inspiration and starting shot for frames from oversized tubes all over the world. To this day the subtle and elegant construction does not seize to amaze.
What you can see here is one of those legendary 3Vs and it is in a nice condition since the paint got a refurbishment.
Moreover the frame has been equipped with a complete Campagnolo Super Record groupset.
The whole combination looks simply stunning.

This piece is one of the finest Italian inventions as far as steel road bikes of the 1980s are concerned. A perfect visualisation of craftsmanship and class.
It is an extremely reliable, strong road bicycle, suitable for any cycling event or to turn some heads on your Sunday ride.
