Road bicycles and coffee have gone hand by hand ever since especially if both come from the Italian peninsula, worldwide known for its strong cycling and roasting tradition. The Faema Team perfectly embodies this magic duo and reached its peak of popularity in 1969-1970 with the great Eddy Merckx. At the time, Faema partnered with Masi: la creme-de-la-creme of Italian espresso machine meets the master of bicycle manufacturing.
This vintage bicycle is exactly a Replica of the legendary frames Masi provided the Feama team with. Manufactured in 1974 and recently restored at Masi workshop in Milan (Italy), the frameset is a masterpiece of fine craftsmanship. The famous "Fisher" fork crown, the BB, dropouts and seat-stay eyelet cutouts are clear indicators that this frame has been meticulously handmade according to Masi world-renowned tradition. and this turns into not only a terrifically beautiful bicycle, but also very lightweight: only 9kg without pedals.
Regarding the components, this Masi is equipped with a top-class Campagnolo Nuovo Record groupset which has been thoroughly checked and adjusted in our workshop: ready to ride!
Located at the famous Vigorelli Velodrome in Milan, Masi has been manufacturing extremely fine racing bikes since 1952. Possibly one of the most iconic Italian brands.
