Description
Masi Gran Criterium classic bicycle from 1974. The Gran Criterium was the top Masi model during the 1970s and is still one of the most wanted classic bicycles among collectors.
This Gran Criterium has been completely restored by the previous owner and shows some interesting changes, such as the frame and fork crown being able to accept modern recessed brake calipers and brake guides on the top tube.
Masi has never disclosed which tubing he used to build the Gran Criterium but they are likely Columbus SL or Reynolds 531. The bicycle shows the typical attention to details of all Masi cycles: refined lugging and many pantographed/drilled details.Regarding the group set, this classic bicycle is fully equipped with a Campagnolo Nuovo Record group set from 1974 in perfect condition. Just have a look at the crank set and enjoy the beauty of this hand-crafted masterpiece.
