Description
Since 1952 the Masi Atelier - located at the famous Velodromo Vigorelli in Milan - has manufactured some of the most wanted road bicycles amongst cyclists and collectors worldwide.
Launched in 1970, the Gran Criterium has been la-creme-de-la-creme of Masi ever since. Although Masi has never disclosed which tubes he actually used to build his frames, the Gran Criterium was likely built of Columbus SL tubes and rarely of Reynolds 531 tubes.
This Masi Gran Criterium dates back to the 1970s and it is in very good condition. The frame has been professionally newly chromed and repainted with appropriate paintwork and decals. The bike is furthermore fitted with a correct-period Campagnolo Nuovo Record Gruppo, with 3TTT stem and bars and Nisi rims.
Thoroughly checked by our mechanics: tires, cables, chain and bar tape are new.
A bicycle with vintage racing pedigree. Suitable for Eroica events worldwide.
