Description
Since 1952 the Masi Atelier - located at the famous Velodromo Vigorelli in Milan - has manufactured some of the finest road bicycles which has been appealing collectors worldwide ever since. A Masi is definitely a bicycle which should not be missing in any serious collection.
Launched in 1970, the Gran Criterium is one of the best bicycles manufactured by the Milanese frame builder. Although they have never disclosed which tubes they used to build their frames, the Gran Criterium was likely built with Columbus SL tubes rather than with Reynolds 531 tubes, more rarely used by Masi.
This Masi Gran Criterium dates back to the late 1970s and is in very good and original condition, thus really rare and collectible. Re the components, this superb racing machine is equipped with an original Campagnolo Super Record groupset, Mavic Special tubular rims, Cinelli bars and stems, and a Selle Italia Superleggera saddle: just the best of everything!
The bicycle has been completely inspected by our mechanics, hence is ready to ride!
The perfect classic bicycle to enrich a collection. Suitable for vintage cycling event (like Eroica or La Superba) and terrifically appealing!
