Description
Established in 1923 Motobécane was one of the most famous French manufacturer of bicycles, mopeds, motorcycles, and other small vehicles. "Motobécane" is a compound of "moto", slang for motorcycle; "bécane" is slang for "bike." It existed until 1984, when it became a branch of Yamaha and continued producing bicycles in France under the Name MBK.
In the 1980s MBK brought some very nice and modern steel bikes to the market. They sponsored famous professional teams and their design was unmistakeable.
Just like you can see on this MBK Mirage Road Bike which shares its name with a French jet fighter.
This sturdy and reliable Mirage dates back to the 1980s and is in mostly original condition with Sachs, Weinmann, Nervar or Mavic parts. It has been further upgraded with a brand new chromed fork. Thoroughly checked by our mechanics, it is ready to hit the roads.
