Description
Cycles Mercier is a French bicycle manufacturer founded in 1919 by Emile Mercier in Saint-Etienne, the cradle of French cycling manufacturing.
Many famous Champions like Poulidor made the bikes in distinctive pink colour famous all over the world. This classic Mercier dates back to the 1970s and it is an elegant road bicycle indeed.
The frame of this elegant bike is made of steel tubes joined together with lugs and then painted in a beautiful vibrant green/gold color.
.
Regarding the components, a festival of high level French components takes place. Stronglight crank, Mafac brakes, Mavic rims, Simplex shifting, Normandy hubs, you name it. When it comes to practicality, there are also the lightweight Bluemels mudguards, chromed front rack or nice original Wolber Sport tires.
A really all round classic racing bicycle with a sweet touch. And also a piece of French manufacturing tradition! Ready for L'Eroica!
