Description

Cycles Mercier is a French bicycle manufacturer founded in 1919 by Emile Mercier in Saint-Etienne, the cradle of French cycling manufacturing.
This classic Mercier SJ 300 dates back to the 1970s and it is clear from the first glance, that it has been made to high quality standards. The frame with classic "mixte" geometry with a sloping twin top tube is made of steel connected the traditional way - with lugs. This one is still painted in the original old green colour.
Regarding the components, you will find some nice French components like Simplex shifting, Maillard hubs, Mafac brakes or Lyotard clincher rims. Since such a bike cannot be just stylish but practical for everyday use, we made sure that the lights and mudguards are still working and checked all the other parts just as well.
A great bicycle for your city adventures or leisure weekend rides - in style!
Ready for L'Eroica.
