Description

We rarely get bikes from Scandinavia and so we arevery happy to be able to present to you this Monark. The history of the Monark brand (which still exists) reaches back to as early as 1908, when it was founded in Sweden. It soon became widely popular not only for their bicycles but also for their motorbikes.

If you take a look at our Monark racing bike from the 1960s, you can immediately tell that they did care about quality.
Not only the frame with its 'Airplane steel' and Nervex Professional lugs, also the parts are basically some of the best you could get in the mid 1960s.
The core of these parts is formed by a Campagnolo Record Groupset of the first generation. So performance is guaranteed as well.

Our Monark with its typical petrol blue colour and the red lug lining looks just terrific. Can you imagine how it feels to ride such a beautiful piece of fine bicycle building? Well, we know and we tell you it is absolutely fabulous!
If you are looking for a fine bicycle for L'Eroica you could make yourself very happy by choosing this one.
