Description
Established in 1923 Motobécane was one of the most famous French manufacturer of bicycles, mopeds, motorcycles, and other small vehicles. "Motobécane" is a compound of "moto", slang for motorcycle; "bécane" is slang for "bike."
They became more known to an international public by their sponsoring of professional teams and winning the Tour de France with their typical orange machines.
Our sturdy and reliable Motobecane Randonneur dates back to the 1970s and is based an a Vitus tube race bike frame.
The triple chainset together with a 28t cog in the rear ensures that even long hard climbs are nothing to fear.
To give it a little extra spin, we equipped the bike with strong new wheels, mottled mudguards and a new Soma front rack, so you can transport your baguette breads.
Thoroughly checked by our mechanics, the bike is otherwise fitted with quality French parts.
Either to take part in Eroica events, to commute, do a weekend trip or to cycle to the next café, this Motobecane is a reliable choice - without renouncing a vintage style!
