Description

Established in 1923 Motobécane was one of the most famous French manufacturers of bicycles, mopeds, motorcycles, and other small vehicles. "Motobécane" is a compound of "moto", slang for motorcycle; "bécane" is slang for "bike."

They became more known to an international public by their sponsoring of professional teams and winning the Tour de France with their typical orange and later blue machines.

This elegant and reliable Motobecane C4 dates back to the 1970s and is in great condition. The frame, painted in the typical paintjob for hogh class Motobecanes of the 70s, is made of high quality Reynolds 531 tubes. As for the parts, you will find Huret shifting, Galli brakes, Shimano hubs ar Mavic rims.

Either to take part in Eroica events, to hit the daily bike path or to cycle to the next café, this Motobecane is a reliable choice. Without renouncing a vintage style!
