Description
Established in 1923 Motobécane was one of the most famous French manufacturer of bicycles, mopeds, motorcycles, and other small vehicles. "Motobécane" is a compound of "moto", slang for motorcycle; "bécane" is slang for "bike."
They became more known to an international public by their sponsoring of professional teams and winning the Tour de France with their typical orange machines.
This high-end reliable Motobecane C51 dates back to the 1980s and is in nice condition.
At that time it was one of the finest bikes, Motobecane offered. They even chose to build the frame completely with Columbus SL tubing - quite untypical for French bikes of that era.
Thoroughly checked by our mechanics, the bike is fitted with high quality parts throughout.
Either to take part in Eroica events, to hit the daily bike path or to cycle to the next café, this Motobecane is a reliable choice. Without renouncing a vintage style!
