Description
Established in 1923 Motobécane was one of the most famous French manufacturer of bicycles, mopeds, motorcycles, and other small vehicles. "Motobécane" is a compound of "moto", slang for motorcycle; "bécane" is slang for "bike."
They became more known to an international public by their sponsoring of professional teams and winning the Tour de France with their typical orange machines.
This strong yet elegant Motobecane Nomade dates back to the early 1980s and is in original condition. Thoroughly checked by our mechanics, the bike is fitted with quality parts mostly of French provenience. To enhance the stylish look of this bike, there are some nice details like the little front rack or easy to get in and out Christophe Mini pedal clips.
The frame is an rather rare and interesting combination of an anglais geometry in the front and a mixte in the rear.
Either to take part in Eroica events, to hit the daily bike path or to cycle to the next café, this Motobecane is a reliable choice. Without renouncing a vintage style!
