Description

In 1939, four years after setting the World Hour Record, Giuseppe Olmo, nicknamed "Gepin", retired from a successful cycling career. Straight afterwards, he set up a bicycle manufacture in Celle Ligure together with his brothers Franco, Giovanni and Michele. The traditional company is still in production today. During the years many excellent bikes have left Celle Ligure to win races all over the world.

The Olmo Competition formed the core of the road bike series. Built with light Columbus SL tubes in different versions during the late 1970 and early 1980s, the Olmo Competition was the top model of the product line and equipped with Campagnolo Record components.

This particular Racer dates back to the late 1970s and still has its original paint. The bike is fully fitted with a Campagnolo Nuovo Record Gruppo to secure s safe and smooth performance.

Thoroughly checked in our workshop, this Olmo is a perfect bicycle to take part in all Eroica events worldwide.
