Description
In 1939, Guiseppe Olmo, nicknamed "Gepin", retired from a successful cycling carreer. Straight afterwards he set up a bicycle manufacture firm in Celle Ligure together with his brothers Franco, Giovanni and Michele. The company is still producing today.
During the years many excellent bikes have left Celle Ligure to win races all over the world.
One of them was the Olmo Competition. The Olmo Competition formed the core of the road bike series. It was built during the late 1970 and early 1980s in different versions.
The bike we present here is suitable for sportive riding and equipped with a complete top class Campagnolo groupset. It is a well made and fast bike which even today is still riding swiftly and very responsive. The frame is of course made of quality Columbus tubes. The paintwork has been refurbished and shines in a deep black.
This bike is suitable for any vintage cycling event and will also carry you on weekend rides.
