Description
In 1939, Guiseppe Olmo, nicknamed "Gepin", retired from a successful cycling carreer. Straight afterwards he set up a bicycle manufacture firm in Celle Ligure together with his brothers Franco, Giovanni and Michele. The company is still in production today.
During the years many excellent bikes have left Celle Ligure to win races all over the world.
One of them was the Olmo Grand Prix. The Olmo Grand Prix was an entry level road bike for those who started to get serious about racing but did not want to spend thousands just for the little extra advantage the expensive parts brought. The model was later discontinued and replaced by less ambitous builds.
The bike we present here is suitable for sportive riding with a complete Campagnolo Record shifting. It is a well made and light bike, equipped with reliable components. The frame is made of quality Falck steel tubes. The paintwork is still original and in nice overall condition.
This bike is fully checked and suitable for Eroica events. New tires, cables, chain and bar tape.
