Description
In 1939, four years after setting the World Hour Record, Giuseppe Olmo, nicknamed "Gepin", retired from a successful cycling career. Straight afterwards he set up a bicycle manufacture in Celle Ligure together with his brothers Franco, Giovanni and Michele. The traditional company is still in production today. During the years many excellent bikes have left Celle Ligure to win races all over the world.
The Olmo Competition formed the core of the road bike series. Our Olmo competition stems from early 1980s and it has many fine details to look at. The frame made of Columbus tubing has fine cutout lugs and Olmo branding. The deep red paintjob is combined with some chromed details such as the head tube lugs and the chain stay.
Regarding the components our Competition is equipped with the complete Campagnolo Nuovo Record gruppo with pantographed brake levers, 3ttt cockpit with Olmo pantographed stem, beautiful Ambrosio rims in excellent condition and some brand new quality parts like the Supercorsa saddle, new chain, tyres, cables, bartape etc.
Completely checked and serviced in our Berlin workshop, you can rely on this beautiful classic.
