Description
In 1939, Guiseppe Olmo, nicknamed "Gepin", retired from a successful cycling career. Straight afterwards he set up a bicycle manufacture firm in Celle Ligure together with his brothers Franco, Giovanni and Michele. The company is still in production today. During the years many excellent bikes have left Celle Ligure to win races all over the world.
Our Olmo stems from the 1990s and the first thing you will notice is the typical 90s purple paintjob. The frame is made of fine SLX NEW tubing, featuring the helical ribbed reinforcements inside the tubes. As you would expect from a high quality Olmo frame, there are also subtle details like the tiny pantographes on some lugs or the beautiful fork crown.
As for the parts, it's equipped with Campagnolo Mirage and Veloce and Racing T parts. The latter mentioned components indicate, that this bike is equipped with triple chainring and the accordingly designed derailleurs. That pretty much guarantees, that with enough gears at you disposal you will be able to conquer even the steepest hills with relative ease.
Commutes, weekend rides or longer hilly tours will be more fun than ever!
